What doesnt kill you

Ladies and Gentleman, it is official: A new study has concluded that experiencing "adverse life events" not only makes you stronger but more satisfied with your life. This study also found that people who sail through life with ease or face less frequent adversity usually do not fare as well compared to those that do. Due to this information, researchers came to the conclusion that ”people are more resilient than we thought and happier because of it."
Have you ever experienced an emotional, financial, or personal setback? Has that setback ever been a key to your success?
Personifications of Marriott’s quote are available throughout America’s rich history. For instance, Babe Ruth struck out a ridiculous 1,330 times in his professional baseball career, but because of his willingness to continue on after failure Ruth went on to amass the record-setting tally of 714 home runs. R.H. Macy failed an incredible 7 times before his Flagship Macy’s Department store of New York City caught on! The great Walt Disney, creator of Disney Motion Pictures and DisneyWorld, failed numerous times, and even suffered a nervous breakdown and lost his home, before he was able to develop a successful cartoon about a mouse named Mickey. The moral of these great American success stories is that the most amazing successes are more often than not built upon early adversities. Therefore, it is important to bear in mind that only out of adversity can massive success truly be born, and it is our job as humans striving for excellence to turn these adversities into eventual successes.
One important key to turning your adversities into amazing successes is the importance of seeing your adversities as a bump in the road and not the end of the road. Your adversities are integral parts of the development process that prepares you for eventual success.
A second important key to turning adversity into success is one’s attitude. Answer this question: do you see your glass as half full or half empty? Or, more grammatically, do you see your current adversity as a “setback-period” or as a “setback-comma”? I ask this because as children we were all taught that there were two punctuation marks, each being critica l to our ability to effectively learn to read and write. These two punctuation marks were the period and the comma. A period means the end of a sentence or end story, automatically implying that there is no more to be said or communicated, whereas a comma signifies a pause in the thought, with more to come in the sentence or story! When we have a setback, which we all will experience at some point or another in this life, we have the choice of deciding if this is particular setback will be a period or a comma in our life’s story. I encourage you to see life’s challenges as a comma and not a period, but you are the one who must make the choice.
Remember that your attitude determines how you see and respond to the adversity that you are facing. As Bob Johnson, the founder of BET and current billionaire, once wrote, “Adversity can either make you or break you! The same hammer that breaks the glass happens to be the same hammer tha t sharpens the steel!” Hence, your eventual success or failure all depends on the positivity or negativity of your attitude and

There are times when things look their bleakest and we think that there’s no one there for us. That is the time to turn to prayer. God is always willing to meet us halfway. Work your way towards Him. I am here to tell you that if do just small works in His Name, He will bless you. You reach out to His Magnificent Hand and He will reach back to grab yours. He will cover unimaginable distances touch you and fill you with His Holy Spirit.

Our God can never fail. You may sometimes think that He’s not listening to your prayer but our God hears every prayer and you would be very surprised to know how much He thinks of YOU! He thinks millions of thought about YOU personally everyday.

With the recent calamity in Northern Japan we may question how our God can allow these things to happen. Our God weeps for each and every life that is lost there. I am telling you that our God is a good of Mercy. The devil rejoices in death and destruction and disorder. The devil wants only to kill and destroy. In all times, remember that God is always in charge. We do not understand His reasons for the way that He does things. It is not for we mortals to question Him; it is our job to love, respect and worship Him.

The people of Northern Japan need our help but mostly they need our prayer. They are a part of the Family of Man and they are hurting in ways that very few of us understand. Support them through the Red Cross and through the Mighty Lord our God support them also with your fervent prayer.

Life has a lot of challenges that we all go through day in and day out. We are left with so many questions and most of them we aren’t able to answer at all. I have personal experiences in my own life that, are too painful to dwell on and keep thinking about them, but I tell myself it had to be to be that example.

From the very first day of our birth, we all come across different types of adversities. They can be sickness, failures, setbacks, problems, and losses like jobs, family, financial loss or loss of dear loved ones. I know what it is to walk on knife edge and wonder what tomorrow is going to become. You and me are no exception to all these and many more of life`s turbulent times.

But what I have learnt and not the easy way though is that, how a person handles such adversities is what makes the difference in one`s life. It is always important that we lean on God`s grace, during such times nothing can take you through only but God`s grace, One needs to remain focused and concentrate on the positive, then one can become stronger from within. During such times strength from without will fail you but that which is form within can make you strong by each day. We must also bear in mind that adversities might taste bitter but surely these bless a person with enormous opportunities to grow up physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. If you remain focused on the positive, you can make adversities work for you, instead of working against you, though I will admit its worthy it to lean on the grace of God. If we look closely at each adversity, we become wiser to life`s ways as each adversity brings new insight. In real sense, tough situations take us to a pathway of new growth as human beings.

By focusing on the positive we begin to see the blessings appear-sometimes not immediately but later that we would not have received had we not been handed tough times. That’s why it’s important to note that when you have managed to overcome life`s grave problems, do not spend time remembering the difficult times, concentrate on the joy of having passed yet another of life`s tests. When you emerge from a long period of medical treatment, do not brood on the suffering you endured, think instead of the Grace and blessings of God that allowed you to be cured. There is no justifiable reason to date three, two or more women at one time simply because you are having relational problems, nothing will ever substitute character, we have to guard jealously over our characters. Troubles don’t last forever, its only but for a while, but your name will always be remembered so be cautious about how you walk with the Lord. The bible says Enoch walk with God and he was not….

Lets us continue in His grace and fervency in prayer and supplication without fainting or tiring. For He cometh soon, watch ye therefore and pray.

Mercy ad Peace to you all.
